The Columbus band's debut full-length is out May 7.

This is pleasant news: Way Yes, a 2011 Bands to Watch honoree(the membership has doubled since then), two-time Rocktoberfest performer and one of this city's most consistent purveyors of mind-melting pop singles, has announced a debut full-length album. Relevant info: It's called Tog Pebbles, it has 10 tracksand it's coming out digitally May 7 on Lefse Records. That's the artwork from frequent collaboratorJohn Malta above. Pre-order it at wayyes.com.

More immediately, opening track/lead single "Colerain" might be the loveliest thing they've ever laid down, which is saying something. They've pulled off gorgeous globetrotting melancholy before, but this is the sound of everything coming together for these guys. Download the track at Stereogumor just listen to the Bandcamp stream below - over and over again, probably.
