In April the Columbus Economic and Community Development Institute awarded a local entrepreneur with a grant to open his or her business, with the intention to spark retail and community activity downtown. This Friday marks the grand opening of the business that won—Seven Studios.
Seven Studios is a wellness studio and retreat center that will offer yoga, pilates, bootcamp fitness and life-coaching classes. ECDI awarded Seven Studios’ founder, Julie Wilkes, with free rent of a 1,100-square-foot space one block south of the Columbus Commons, as well as advertising money and business mentoring classes.
Check out the grand opening (Friday, info below), and stop by for a 4 p.m. “Cause Yoga” class on Sunday during the summer; the free classes will take donations to be given to cancer-fighting organizations.
