Concert news roundup: Kid Cudi/Tyler the Creator, Chelsea Light Moving, Mission of Burma and more

Here's an assortment of recent concert announcements, some from this week, some from before.

Cleveland rapper/singer/producer Kid Cudi headlines LC Pavilion on Tuesday, Sept. 24. Along for the ride will be Tyler, the Creator and Logic. Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. Friday for $35 ($42.85 with fees).

Cult favorite singer-songwriter Richard Buckner returns to the Tree Bar on Wednesday, Aug. 21, with support from Chuck and Lisa from Cincinnati's Wussy. Admission is $10 at the door. RSVP here.

Screaming Females, Waxahatchee and Tenement, three great bands on the suddenly-very-hip Don Giovanni label, will play Ace of Cups on Thursday, Sept. 26. No ticket info is available yet for that show, but it promises to be amazing.

Huge metal double bill: Lamb of God and Killswitch Engage will play the LC on Monday, Oct. 28. Tickets cost $32 ($39.85 with fees) starting 10 a.m. Friday.

Here's two shows featuring rock icons who've been around since the '80s, on back to back nights at Ace of Cups: Thurston Moore's Chelsea Light Moving headlines on Thursday, Sept. 12 ($15 tickets available now), followed by Mission of Burma on Friday, Sept. 13 ($20 tickets available now).

Resurgent weirdo Har Mar Superstar will play Double Happiness on Wednesday, Oct. 2. Tickets cost $8 and can be purchased now.

The experimental electronic act Baths plays The Basement on Wednesday, Sept. 25. Tickets are on sale now for $12 ($16.85 with fees).

Lastly, embattled indie rockers Surfer Blood return to The Basement on Thursday, Oct. 10. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday for $15 ($20.85 with fees).
