The "Calvin and Hobbes" and "Cul de Sac" exhibitions open up at the Billy Ireland Library and Museum this Saturday, and to get you in the mood for this insanely awesome exhibition, curators Jenny Robb and Caitlin McGurk sat down with the storied cartoonists to talk shop.
The topics covered range from the artists' creative process' to the decline of newspapers, to the importance of preserving "low art" like cartoons. Who would have thought genius Bill Watterson had trouble writing dialogue, or that "Cul de Sac" came so easily for Richard Thompson?

The exhibition runs from March 22- August 3. Bonus: There will be a screening of the documentary "Dear Mr. Watterson" at 4 p.m Saturday at The Wexner Center.
