Columbus-based Land-Grant Brewing has forged the Scioto, and is officially headed west.
Just yesterday, the guys announced they are setting up shop at 424 W. Towne St. in the near-west enclave of Franklinton.
After what sounded like a long and miserable search for a space, Land-Grant Brewing's President Adam Benner said the company decided to post up in Franklinton because of the "momentum" and "electricity" surrounding the neighborhood.
The proposed 12,000sq. ft. facility located across from 400 West Rich will include 8,000 sq. ft. of production space, a 20bbl brew house and a taproom that will feature other local beers in addition to the Land-Grant roster.
Heading west hasn't been so much fun since Oregon Trail!
