Cabo is located at the former La Tavola site & is owned by the Tucci's/ Oscar's/ Brazenhead people. Their menu covers the Mexi-basics, but also has some more ambitious fare on it. Here's a few things I tried on their incomparable, woodsy riverbank- situated patio.
Trio dip sampler--sorta pricey & disappointing w/ single dimensional guac; ok, but served cold black bean dip & very thin, not very artichokey artichoke dip
Big Bang Burrito--not bad for a meat-tastic kitchen sinker
Spicy & Crunchy Tilapia--a real success! Under the delicious fish was a great pork belly & plantain mash.The sauce was a tomato/ chili/ cream thing that worked great, too.
