It was announced a few weeks ago that two Columbus chefs were announced as semifinalists in the James Beard Awards (the "oscars of cooking") for "Best Chef: Great Lakes" category: the very deserving Magdiale Wolmark of Dragonfly Neo-V and Kent Rigsby of Rigsby's Kitchen.

This Sunday from 3:30 to 5 p.m., Slow Food Columbus will host a reception to honor the chefs in the North Market's Dispatch Kitchen, where Slow Food volunteers will serve passed appetizers and refreshments.
