Taste of Belgium has taken over the former Cameron Mitchell cafe at the Wexner Center. Fortunately for health-concerned art lovers, TOB is branching out beyond their crazy-good waffles into soup, salad and sandwich territory.
Above is a definitely above-average Salade Nicoise made with big chunks of chilled tuna; properly cooked hard eggs (no gray areas!); black olives of decent provenance (though a few were past-their-prime softies); easy-to-love fingerling potatoes; and a very nicely balanced yet bright (mustard?) herb-flecked vinaigrette. Some red onion would've been welcome on there, but a sound effort nonetheless.
I'll be back and will report on it more fully real soon.
