Just got back from an excellent lunch at Knead, where I was dining with friends from Columbus Food Adventures, a few local food bloggers and Chef David Tanis of Chez Panisse. Chef Tanis, a Dayton native who seemed like a good natured guy with a fine sense of humor, is in town for a booksigning and cooking demo (promoting his beautiful new book, seen below) this afternoon at Easton's Williams-Sonoma.
