Friday the 13th Alana's Vegetarian Dinner

This Friday, the weather looks to be more representative of springtime than the last few crappy days have been (mid ’60s and sun are promised), and what better way to celebrate the season than with an only-in-Columbus experience: A great veggie dinner and wine-athon at Alana's ($50 is the out-the-door price).

Here is the menu that'll be presented, and fortunately it has a lot of stuff on it similar to what I loved in my recent review (pictured above is a version of the Blackened Tofu she's offering).

McNab Ridge French Colombard, Mendocino
Passed hors d'oeuvres
• boiled peanut hummus
• pinto bean empanadas
• a surprise

Golbesburger Rose, Austria

Harissa Red Lentil Soup with Chiffonade of Mint
Moroccan Ratatouille

Summit Lake Zinfandel, Napa

Blackened Tofu with Black Eyed Pea Etouffee and File Rice

Truffles to finish
• Date Pistachio
• Superfudge with Maldon Sea Salt
