Winners in the 35th annual Pazz & Jop Poll have been announced. Compiled by the staff of The Village Voice, the annual poll of the year's best records and songs asks hundreds of music critics across the country to rank their 10 favorites in each category. Winners are those with the highest aggregate point totals.
Surprisingly, the top song was Amy Winehouse's wino ballad "Rehab." Not surprisingly, the top album was LCD Soundsystem's masterpiece Sound of Silver. Chris DeVille and I both got to vote this year, totally sweet. Here are the complete results:
