Artist: Jefferson Airplane Track: "Won't You Try" Album: After Bathing at Baxter's Listen

I've been listening to a ton of the Airplane lately -- maybe because it's spring, maybe because it's election season. The band that defined the San Francisco acid sound to people across the world is good for both. If you know the band a bit, you know Surrealistic Pillow; if you love the band, which I absolutely do, you love After Bathing at Baxter's. The group's third release has all the weird psychedelic tones and moods, great songwriting and the vocal interplay between Marty Balin and Grace Slick. Also check out this album's classic tracks "Wild Thyme" and "Young Girl Sunday Blues.".

The band's homepage has a complete discography, history and other interesting features.
