Quinn Fallon and Andyman Davis, owners of Andyman's Tree House since 1999, will sell the Grandview bar to Robert Palma, who will turn over managing duties to his sons, according to an email sent to Alive today.
Davis will continue to work at CD101, where he is the program director and the afternoon DJ. Fallon plans to stay on as an advisor and to book shows.
A popular hangout for local musicians, Andyman's list of live shows includes most of the city's alt-country, indie and rock bands, as well as national artists like Pete Yorn and Cracker. In 2007, the Tree House was mentioned in Esquire magazine's "Best Bars in America" feature.
Two shows will commemorate the sale. The Whiles, The Kyle Sowashes, and the X-Rated Cowboys play Friday, June 13, and the Willie Phoenix Band and the Ghosts of Tree House Past will play acoustic sets Saturday, June 14.
