I've been covering the election for the paper, so I often have to watch new campaign ads. I will not disclose my personal political opinion on this blog -- we can grab a beer after work if you're curious -- but I'll be running down really awful campaign ads.
This is the most ridiculous campaign ad I've seen this cycle. Are you so desparate to paint Barack Obama as a really genuine guy that you need to attach metaphorical value to a game of Red Rover?
Or, maybe this one below is. The absolute last person I'd ever consider an expert on the cultural importance of Woodstock is a 77-year-old senator from Arizona. Does John McCain really think people still buy albums...on vinyl?
