Artist: The Bee Gees Track: "You'll Never See My Face Again" Album: Odessa Listen

Most only know The Bee Gees for their work on the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack -- and for a lot of other disco songs they didn't actually record ("Disco Inferno," for example). That's one yardstick for greatness: You define an era so profoundly, everything starts to sound like your records.

But, as I was telling a friend earlier this week, they had an under-appreciated period of light-hearted, '60s British pop. For those who like The Dave Clark Five, Small Faces, Paul Revere & the Raiders or any number of bands who copied the Invasion sound, go pick up this record. It proves the musical genius of the Gibb brothers and expands a canon worn to death on oldies radio.
