This week, I've been talking to many local bikers about how Columbus has improved as a bike city -- and, more importantly, what we need to do to become great. One thing several brought up is the need for a more holistic approach to complete streets, bike boulevards and traffic calming.

Making Gay Street more pedestrian friendly is great, but for every one of those projects, the city starts 20 that haven't considered complete-streets principles. Below is a really great video about great strides made in Berkeley, California.
