The Wilds already offers a fantastic safari experience, transporting Ohioans into an ecosystem that mirrors grassland Africa. Now, at the new Nomad Ridge lodging area, you can remain in it overnight.

Nomad Ridge is a luxury tented-camp experience situated atop a ridge near the visitor center. Guests stay in yurts, nomadic-style structures made of canvas stretched over a wooden frame. Those at the Cumberland nature preserve are built on platforms and feature bamboo flooring, screened windows, a private bathroom and Asian-inspired décor.

The first set of yurts open to the public today.
