The 19th-annual Slice of Columbus will be baking 'em by the barnful inside - and outside if the weather is nice - the LC Pavilion.

How much pizza can you eat? Not sure? Well, test out your theory - or try to beat your personal best - next Wednesday. Because on that pie-hole-jamming night, the 19th-annual Slice of Columbus will be baking 'em by the barnful inside - and outside if the weather is nice - the LC Pavilion.

While a group of sauce-splattered judges (including yours truly) dutifully swallow round after round of 'zas to determine the winner, live tunes will be banged out and cold drinks (both soft and hard) will be served.

More to the point, hungry attendees plunking down a measly $10 (in advance, $12 at door) will be allowed to chow "all you can eat" style on their fill of slices from 20 different local pizzerias. The crowd will also be voting on the People's Choice award to rival the pick of the so-called professionals.

Afterward, stuffed attendees can motor home basking in the glory of knowing that their gorging went to a great cause: All Slice proceeds benefit Nationwide Children's Hospital.
