The Columbus Italian Club's Reverse Raffle and Dinner Dance is an annual fundraiser that helps the club do its part to maintain a strong Italian community in Central Ohio.
This year's event - held on Saturday, Aug. 23, at St. Charles Preparatory School - was absolutely beautiful, the food was magnificent and, of course, the guests (the majority of them Italian) were just gorgeous. In addition to enjoying a seven-course Italian dinner, attendees danced to tunes from the incredible Dr. Zoot and tried their luck at the animated Italian game Morra.
Club president Chris Beardman said he was thrilled with the turnout. "We truly appreciate everyone's support of CIC," he said. "We sold 303 tickets, gave away a lot of great prizes and raised $12,000 for our scholarship program."
