Lori Schmidt Scott Torgerson Milan Jordan Tony Castricone Clair the Fan Girl What was the single biggest surprise during Ohio State's loss to USC? After two losses on the national stage, it's surprising the Buckeyes haven't figured out how to avoid a meltdown. The score. I never thought they'd lose this bad. Not only did Beanie's injury leave him out, but the rest of the team apparently left their hearts in Columbus. That they were embarrassed. I knew they could lose, but I thought they'd at least go down with a fight. hat Beanie didn't play. I was holding out hope that he would, and I honestly thought he could. What will be the fallout for the Buckeyes' national reputation? Two voters in the Associated Press poll have the Buckeyes unranked! Sadly, for them and many others, this loss was evidence that OSU is a fraud. It was already damaged. Could it get worse? The national media will bash the Buckeyes this week, then OSU will simply be a blip on the radar. Outside of Columbus, nobody has a reason to talk about the Buckeyes. Same as it already is. They can't hang with the big boys across the country, and the Big Ten is weak sauce. Their reputation doesn't matter to anyone but the fans. The Buckeyes don't need to listen to what everyone is saying. Just do your job and that will shut them up. Is it time to hand the starting QB job to Terrelle Pryor? I don't know if Pryor is the answer, but I know Boeckman is not. So, I'd start Pryor. Yes. He should have played the second half of the USC game. He will silence the haters. It's hard to bench a senior and co-captain in favor of a freshman, but after the USC game, TP should see much more meaningful PT. Sure. He's a dual threat, which kept USC off balance. Boeckman's a nice player, but not versatile enough to overcome that bad O-line play. I think so. Despite the atmosphere and pressure at the Coliseum, he did well. Are Cleveland Browns fans going to get a break this year? Sigh. They play the Bengals twice, don't they? Sure, when they get healthy. They'll be much better than the 4-12 Bengals. Yes. On Monday, Dec. 29. At this rate, they'll be on the couch during the playoffs. They're Browns fans. Of course not. You mean like a leg? Because the fans aren't going to get a break.
