What do you like to wear?

I try to find very basic, classic pieces, and then dress them up however I can. Usually it's the accessories or the shoes. This dress, for example - if I don't wear a belt at all and wear a long necklace, it looks totally different.

What are some of your favorite pieces?

This dress is definitely one of them. Then I have a gray, high-waisted pencil skirt that I'll pair with a black blouse, long necklace and some green shoes or something to make it pop.

Where do you like to shop?

For professional attire, I wear a lot of Banana Republic. Casual attire, I'm more on the Forever 21 side or Anthropologie.

What about accessories?

I like Rag-O-Rama for their very vintage pieces, especially accessories. I like long, handmade necklaces. I like Forever 21 because their jewelry is so cheap, but it also breaks all the time.

Where do you get ideas?

I like What Not to Wear. I like Jennifer Aniston's style a lot. I'm just very much drawn to the J. Crew and Banana Republic basics, I don't know what it is.

What products do you love?

I love Aveda's makeup. And I also love Sonia Kashuk for Target.

How do you think your style aligns with the rest of your life?

I think it's cohesive with the way I carry myself, my personality. I like to consider myself a lady. I know that sounds so old-school, but I think my clothes represent that.

The outfit:
