"I have a vintage Michael Jackson "Beat It" jacket from when "Beat It" came out. Like a year ago, it was worth $60; right now, it's going anywhere from $3,000 to $10,000 on eBay. But I can't bring myself to sell it."

Job: Manager and artistic director at Rue Juve Medi Spa

Neighborhood: Gahanna

Hometown: Steubenville

Label your style: "Metro rockstar"

Why does this style work for you?

I am a hairdresser, I am an artist, and I like to express myself. I travel around the U.S. and Canada and teach at hair shows and conventions, and I look at my clothes like I'm on stage every day.

What else do you like to wear?

This is my day-to-day. My closet has - other than Robert Wayne - a lot of Steve Madden shoes and a lot of clothes with prints. I'm into that Bret Michaels Rock of Love look right now. But I also have a very classic Banana Republic look if I'm going to dinner.

Where do you like to shop?

Rue 21, Express, DSW.

Is there anything in your closet you're embarrassed of?

I'm not embarrassed of it, I think it's really cool - I have a vintage Michael Jackson "Beat It" jacket from when "Beat It" came out. Like a year ago, it was worth $60; right now, it's going anywhere from $3,000 to $10,000 on eBay. But I can't bring myself to sell it.

What influences your style?

A lot of it is my father - I always used to say he was a "white James Brown." He had all the rings on, he was just really cool and funky and used to have his hair real long.

Is there anything you outright won't wear?

Skinny jeans. Do you see skinny legs? I'm a hockey player, I've got thighs.

The outfit:

Shirt: Rue 21

Jeans: Banana Republic

Shoes: Robert Wayne

Bracelet: From a cruise in the Bahamas
