Pizza fiends can have the evening of their saucy and cheesy dreams become a delicious reality on Wednesday, Sept. 9. On that oregano-scented night at the LC Pavilion, among a smiling swarm of like-minded mozzarella hounds, $10 (presale, $12 at the gate) will buy all the pizza you can eat from 20 different pizzerias at the always-riotous Slice of Columbus pizza party.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the pie-hole-cramming bash, and though it's a lot of gluttonous fun, there's a very serious side to it too. That's because all proceeds benefit the Nationwide Children's Hospital and over the past two decades of Slice, a whopping $600,000 has been raised.

Chomping attendees (I go every year and strongly recommend wearing a tomato-red "boo-boo"-concealing shirt) can vote for best 'za of 2009 as well as enjoy adult (or not) beverages and the sounds of Shucking Bubba. See you there. - G.A. Benton
