Is it me, or is it getting more Canadian around here? Along with the start of hockey season and a raging debate about national health care comes a series of how-to classes hosted by the Columbus Curling Club, which has experienced rapid growth during the past several years. Learn-to-Curl Clinics will be held Oct. 3-18 at the Clintonville club, one of the southernmost facilities to feature ice specifically groomed for the sport. (If you've never curled, it works much like shuffleboard on ice.) Would-be curlers of all ages and experience levels are welcome.
