Gifted, on view now at the Dublin Arts Council gallery, offers a beautiful reprieve to the procession of hearts, flowers and other same-old jewelry designs in your ordinary outlets for bling. It spotlights four local jewelry designers doing remarkable things in metal: Ohio Wesleyan professor Cindy Cetlin; Kelly Malec-Kosak, a department chair at CCAD with exacting craftsmanship and a humorous way with pacifiers; Kristi Kloss, an award-winning designer inspired by seeds and insects; and Michael B. Hays, who brings architectural finesse to sterling pieces such as goblets and tea infusers (pictured).
