Like a localized take on VH1's Save the Music, the burgeoning nonprofit Music Loves Ohio is dedicated to funding after-school opportunities for schools that have slashed their music programs. For their holiday concert in support of the cause, the group has lined up Jerry DePizzo, sax man for Ohio State party band-turned-worldwide superstars O.A.R. DePizzo will perform alongside a secret slate of musicians featuring some of his closest Columbus associates. Jared Mahone, Transit Arts and The Forties are also on the bill. -Chris DeVille
