What's better than settling down with a good book? How about getting up close and comfortable with the author of the book?

What's better than settling down with a good book? How about getting up close and comfortable with the author of the book? That's what you can expect next Tuesday when Jayne Anne Phillips kicks off the Thurber House's 2010 "Evenings with Authors" series at the Columbus Performing Arts Center. The bestselling novelist of Shelter and Machine Dreams, Phillips will read from her first book in nine years, Lark & Termite. As always, attendees will have the opportunity for an informal question-and-answer session afterwards, followed by a reception and book signing.
