"I don't think I could do the nine-to-five yet. I still have a couple years of bartending. I really just love being around everybody, it's like one big family. Dysfunctional, but we're a family."
Years behind the bar: 10
What's the crowd like at Brewsky's?
It's all different types of people here. It's typically a sports bar, but we really get a variety. We get people in their early twenties to people in their eighties in here.
We do all kinds of stuff, like UFC fights, that bring in different crowds.
Do the UFC fans ever fight each other?
Actually, they're the tame crowd. It shocked me, but the UFC people are well-behaved.
What do you like about bartending?
I don't think I could do the nine-to-five yet. I still have a couple years of bartending. I really just love being around everybody, it's like one big family. Dysfunctional, but we're a family.
What don't you like about bartending?
There are those certain people that come in. They don't understand that you have a bunch of other things to do. They want all your attention, now. I think everyone should experience one week, at least, in some sort of service industry.
What do you like to do when you're not working?
I have a new hobby, snowboarding. I just started because I got a snowboard for Christmas. I just went and, oh my God, I was so sore. I bought all the gear, so I'm committed. I am going to learn.
Where do you go to get a drink?
I stay here a lot. And I'll go to the Front Row because they have Keno.
What's the most you've won at Keno?
What do you drink?
I love red wine. I drink it when I'm trying to behave. Also shots - Jager bombs, anything with the Crunk juice. I love the Three Olives Raspberry with Citrus Crunk. It's just like lemonade.
I'll order a beer and it will just sit there because I'll drink shots. Everyone picks on me because it gets warm.
What's the worst pickup line you've heard?
This guy came up and was just staring at me and said, "You're hot enough to be a stripper." I thought, maybe that's a compliment. I don't know. [laughs]
If you could have a drink with anybody, living or dead, who would it be?
Kid Rock. I'm not a huge fan, I just think he'd be fun to hang out with because he seems kind of down-to-earth.
