This special event at the Ohio Historical Society promises a day's worth of art, history and performances. It's a celebration of both Black History Month as well as the year-long "Soul!" exhibition, featuring art from the National Afro-American Museum and Cultural Center. Saturday's event offers a host of interactive offerings, from plays and docent-led tours to an arts market. Photographer and educator Queen Brooks (above) will unveil a new mural in the historical society's permanent collection. And three dramatic performances - celebrating the lives and accomplishments of George Washington Carver, Underground Railroad conductor John Parker and Columbus aviator Lonnie Carmon - will kick things off at 10:30 a.m.
