Columbus Brewing Company
535 Short St., Brewery District
One of the best-kept secrets in bar-menu bargains is Columbus Brewing Company's Pizza and a Pint: For just 12 bucks (Monday through Thursday evenings) you can pair a wood-fired pie with a fresh-brewed CBC ale. The pizza's great, of course (try the Canadian Bacon Four Cheese), but what you're really after is an excuse to sip a beer or three. Our favorites: the rich, unfiltered India Pale Ale and, in season, the crisp, almost-sweet Summer Teeth. Actually, you should probably try them all. There's more on tap where that came from.
