What the Rock?!

1194 N. High St., Short North

No candles, picture frames or stuffed animals for us. Alive readers prefer gift shops with a heavy dose of irreverent, rock 'n' roll attitude. The kids' gifts alone - vulgar baby onesies (little ones can't read, after all), watercolor activity books with scenes from the '90s - are enough to endear us to this Short North boutique.

Plus, there's plenty for the not-so-grownups in your life: cassette-tape belt buckles, brass knuckle earrings, Joey Ramone action figures and a collection of mugs, glasses and coasters you just have to see for yourself (mostly because we can't print their messages here).
