If you've been missing out on the city's growing comedy scene, you must have been in a soap-opera-style coma for the last few months. Now that you're feeling better, you should catch up with this weekend's Comedy'Splosion at MadLab's new Third Street space Downtown. The event's part of MadLab's monthlong Kill 'Em With Kindness comedy festival.

Friday night performers include Dean Masello, Anthony O'Connell, Nickey Winkelman, Sean Somerville, Rye Silverman, Travis Hoewischer and Bill Arrundale. Saturday night has Laura Sanders, Mike Kolar, Matt Horn, Jeff Burgstrom, Chris Coen, and organizers Justin Golak and Sumukh Torgalkar.
