Percussionist Adam Rudolph and saxophonist Ralph "Buzzy" Jones first played together at a 1974 jazz festival featuring James Brown and Sun Ra on the same bill. Yeyi, their upcoming duet performance at Downtown's Columbus Dance Theatre, promises to erase any cliches of smoked-out conga players rocking scruffy beards.
