From Buckeye Donuts to Ruckmoor Lounge, we explore the city's late-night haunts and meet the characters who frequent them

"The city that never sleeps" is among New York's many nicknames. Columbus, on the other hand, sleeps tightly, nightly.

But even after most of this town shuts down, a few nocturnal souls persevere into the dark - insomniacs, third-shift workers, party animals. With photographer Jodi Miller in tow, I decided to stay out all night last Thursday, meet these people and find out what goes on in this city's wee hours.
