What's the crowd like here at Rude Dog?

It's an awesome mix. The happy hour tends to be more of a business crowd. As the night progresses, it transitions into a younger twentysomething crowd.

We have live bands and DJs, but we also try to provide a lot of TVs for sporting events. Our food is a restaurant-style menu. So it suits most people.

What dish would you recommend?

The Philly cheesesteak is the best thing on the menu.

What do you like to do when you're not at work?

I love to golf. I also take classes at Ohio State, but I wouldn't say I enjoy that quite as much as playing golf.

What do you drink?

We have a drink we made up here with Three Olives Berry, sugar-free Red Bull and a splash of pineapple. If I have a beer, it's Coors Light.

Where do you like to go for a drink?

Really, I haven't met a bar I don't like. I go to Claddagh a lot, and the Keystone Pub sometimes. Occasionally, I'll go down to Nyoh's country bar. I've got a couple friends that work down there. It's a fun bar apart from the country music.

So no line dancing for you?

No. I'm not coordinated for that kind of thing. If there's not a pretty solid beat to it, I have no desire to dance to it.

How did you come to Columbus from Connecticut?

My dad got a job here, so the family moved when I was a senior. I hated it when I moved here, but I slowly fell in love with it. I would've never thought of going to Ohio State if we hadn't moved here. Now, I'm really glad we did.

Have you got any good stories from bartending?

Most of them are pretty gross, to be honest. Just puke or catching people having sex. I think I've kicked people out of bathrooms at least 10 times. That's an awkward conversation.

If you could have a drink with any person, living or dead, who would it be?

John Daly. He'd be a cool guy to drink with - it would be a party.

My friend belongs to his country club. She tells stories about his wife coming to the bar, chasing him. He'd scoot out the back door and just go for it.
