You certainly can't fault Kelli Martin for spending entire days wearing band T-shirts and jeans, holed up in her second-bedroom-turned-sweatshop.

The Columbus clothing designer, a contestant on "Project Runway's" fifth season, is working on a new collection for her label, Anti-Label.

"I'm just going back to the crazy, tattered street-style stuff I used to do, but making it meet a higher-end fashion look," Martin said.

Here, she shares more about her own unpredictable style.

How does your sense of style extend to the rest of your life?

My whole thing is contrast and contradiction. My iTunes goes from the Lunachicks to George Jones to Dwight Yoakam.

I have a lot of funny, horror-type memorabilia. I have one of the first prints of a sketch of the "Zodiac Killer" hanging downstairs, framed.

What shampoo did you use this morning?

Matrix Ultra Hydrating Shampoo for color-treated hair. I've been dyeing my hair since I was 11.

What color are your nails right now?

OPI's "I've Got the Blues for Red"

Where do you like to shop in town?

I think Midwest thrift stores are the best in the world. I like to hunt for my clothes.

What do you wear every day?

SPF 50. Ever since I was a child. I use the spray kind because it goes on evenly and doesn't grease you up. And this Estee Lauder Mattifying Oil Control Lotion is a facial toner that's the best I've ever used in my life.
