When B Hamptons closed two years ago, Victorian Villagers were left with a hole in their collective hearts - and, more importantly, one of the best happy hours in town was no more.

When B Hamptons closed two years ago, Victorian Villagers were left with a hole in their collective hearts - and, more importantly, one of the best happy hours in town was no more.

Luckily, all the best parts of Hamptons have been incorporated into the new Harrison's on Third, only with a finer setting that includes giant - and I mean mafia-gathering giant - booths, a shiny wood bar and comfy bar stools.

During happy hour, neighborhood hipsters and young professionals rub shoulders with flannel-clad PBR drinkers, blue-collar patrons and patio denizens.

Jukebox choices are assorted, ranging from The Hold Steady circa "Boys and Girls in America" (a surprisingly perfect fit) to GZA's "Liquid Swords."

The Booze:

Everything is half-off during happy hour! Yes, everything from drafts ($2 imports and microbrews, $1.25 domestics) to top-shelf shots (under $4).

There's 30 bottled beers under $3, with a few out-of-the box options like the tasty, dark Brooklyn Brown Ale and Rogue's sweet and spicy Chipotle.

Shots fans can check out the LeBomb James ($3.75). My feelings about drinks meant to insert liquor into the bloodstream as quickly as possible are mixed - pretty much how I feel about LeBron and the Cavs lately. Surprisingly, Red Bull and Jameson isn't as bad as you'd think. I could almost taste the whiskey.

The Food:

Weekday food specials - from steak dinner to 69-cent sliders - are served until 11 p.m. Friday's "pizza day" is popular for good reason. Five bucks gets you a super-cheesy pie with a crispy, not-quite-thin crust. This slightly greasy delight is perfect with a pint of Rogue Dead Guy Ale. Only caveat - I recommend you bring a friend, or a big appetite.

Food Specials:

Monday: $12 steak dinner

Tuesday: $3 grilled cheese & tomato soup

Wednesday: $8 pasta dinner

Thursday: 69-cent chicken and beef sliders

Friday: $5 one-topping pizzas
