The Short North Business Association has selected a new senior director, filling the leadership post vacated in early May.

Diesha Condon, who worked as the organization's membership director from June 2009 to February, was hired Friday. She replaces Christina Menges, who stepped down just four months after being hired.

"I had the advantage of working with [former SNBA director] John Angelo and finishing some of his vision," Condon said earlier this week by phone. "I think my first priority is maintaining member benefits and being more of a resource for them."

Among her strengths, she cited her experience working with district sponsors and a familiarity with SNBA operations. Previously, Condon worked with Paycor Payroll Services, the Columbus Symphony Orchestra, A.D. Farrow Co. and ActionCOACH Business Coaching.

Condon officially took office Monday.
