Why to drink it

You insist on buying your tomatoes locally, so why not do the same with your beer? Officially named and released last year, Summer Teeth is a smooth warm-weather beer with a bit of a fruity kick. It's a kellerbier - a type of unfiltered German lager - so lots of flavor and some cloudiness are kept intact.

When to drink it

Eric Bean, brewmaster at CBC, said this is an ideal summer selection because it's refreshing but not overpowering. Flavors are relatively mild, and it pairs well with barbecue, jerk chicken or pizza. Summer Teeth is rotated on tap at numerous local bars, and most grocery chains and mom-and-pop shops hawk it in bottles through August.
