"This is my favorite pancake mix. I'll make a single pancake, put syrup on it and have a glass of milk at 11:30 in the evening, when I get home from work."
Who: Matt Litzinger
What: Chef at L'Antibes
Where: In his Downtown efficiency apartment next to his near-empty fridge.
His motto: "This is the reality of a professional chef. I eat out of convenience. Almost everything in this fridge is to put on things I bring home and eat."
What he likes to make: "I cook wonderful, fine-dining-quality food, but when it comes to what makes me hungry, it's chicken-broccoli casserole or bratwurst or a cheeseburger."
"I like organic milk because it tastes good. It's nutty and a little bit sweet. I use it in my coffee every morning. Plus, I grew up drinking a glass of milk every day."
2. K im chee
"It's basically Korean sauerkraut with chilies in it. So it's already fermented and sour, so it will last for a year-and-a-half. I'll put it with bratwurst."
3. Pancake mix

This kind is the tastiest. You know when you go to a breakfast place, and you're like, these pancakes are so good? That's the same taste. Plus it's the best because you just add water and you're ready to go."
