Just in case it's not hot enough this summer, things have been heating up on the Scioto River during the Waterfire art series. In fact, the art's on fire. During each Waterfire event, 37 bonfires are lit just on top of the water's surface. Fire floating on water is pretty darn cool looking. And this Friday, Waterfire will host two local performance groups. They're too young to play in bars, but you can catch Wonk (the Band) down by the river. The young group has so many different influences, from Jason Mraz to reggae, that you'll never guess what's coming next. And the night of natural art will be rounded out with a concert by the 135-voice Harmony Project Choir.
