It's been six years since the debut album from L.A. trio Autolux. That unbearable wait for a follow-up ended recently with the well-worth-it "Transit Transit."

Dreamy and warm with roots in really lush (not boring) shoegaze, Autolux blends the guitar wall of My Bloody Valentine and Sonic Youth with melodic pop and a hint of Syd Barrett-era Pink Floyd.

They're a great live band, too, so pick up the new record and cross your fingers they'll come to town soon.
