Rangda unites another trio of like-minded visionaries, but compared to all that acoustic plucking, this stuff is way far out.

A lineup of Sun City Girls' Sir Richard Bishop, Six Organs of Admittance/Comets on Fire headmaster Ben Chasny and Bjork/Jandek collaborator Chris Corsano should make any experimental music fan salivate.

Debut "False Flag" satiates that hunger. Each track is a relentless avalanche of noisy chaos, save for a couple that stretch out and breathe - thankfully never at the expense of the sonic gratification they deliver on the more violent numbers.

Brainbow and Old Worlds make it a fully instrumental evening.
