As the brains behind "Arrested Development," Mitchell Hurwitz seemed poised to rise to TV prominence.

Unfortunately that cult favorite was cancelled and Hurwitz's two follow-up projects - "Sit Down Shut Up" and "Brothers" - were major flops.

Judging from the pilot, things don't look much better for "Running Wilde." It's nice to see Will Arnett and David Cross back with Hurwitz, but it's got a forgettable premise - trust-fund baby (Arnett) tries to win over his former flame, eco-nut Emmy (Keri Russell) - and I can only take so much Arnett.
