In the mid-'90s, no one could touch Nic Cage's ability to turn explosions and rigid, hokey one-liners into box-office gold. Contained in one three-disc set (finally!), "The Rock" (1996), "Con Air" (1997) and "Gone in 60 Seconds" (2000) are examples of his prowess as a reluctant tough guy thrown into difficult situations. Watch them in order to see a man narrowly escape death and slowly become a punch line.
