You won't find a nicer guy in Columbus music than Joey Hebdo.

You won't find a nicer guy in Columbus music than Joey Hebdo.

Normally such compliments are reserved for musicians whose craft isn't particularly notable, but Hebdo brings as much talent to the table as friendly cheer. His music has evolved quite a bit over the years, from the hippie-friendly rock sounds of his longtime band Blackcoin to the meek, minimal folk of his solo debut "Prosciutto."

But no matter the genre, Hebdo's music has always been definitively collegiate - he was the first guy we thought of to take the Rocktoberfest stage. Though he usually plays solo, Hebdo's live band will back him up for Saturday's set.
