Marcella's veal meatball
Surrounded by menu items that sound infinitely more interesting, Marcella's veal meatball could be easily overlooked. But don't lump this mound of deliciousness in with the ugly offerings of every other Italian restaurant in the universe.
Made with veal, ricotta, seasonings and breadcrumbs, the meatballs are braised in marinara until they're fluffy and fall-apart tender. The generously sized meatballs are served either in a crock as an appetizer or paired with fettuccine, but you'll want to ask your server to place it directly in your belly.
