Orange Fuzz Boutique

Orange Fuzz Boutique

All of this Cincinnati-based boutique's body products are environmentally friendly, and most are vegan. Some popular items: Guinness soap and beer shaving kits. Turns out booze lathers well, and the cleansers smell like oats and hops. Soap's general "Do Not Imbibe" rule still applies.

Psycho Reindeer

At last year's event, owner Scott Schulman met Jason Corron, host of "PromoWest Live." The Cleveland-area T-shirt designer now provides many of the shirts Corron wears on the show. The designs are cut from a similar cloth as all-over-the-internet Busted Tees, only with more subtle humor and less commercial jokes. If you've ever wanted a shirt with a Mexican Big Boy holding a taco or a Lacoste-like gator chomping on a polo player, look no further.

Out of the Pink Sky

Jill Brown works in brain cancer research at the OSU Medical Center for her day job. On the side, she sells handcrafted jewelry that ranges from sophisticated to silly (ask her about the cat butt earrings). The Etsy site is worth visiting, too, if you want to take the legwork out of hunting for unique and vintage finds.

Binding Bee

The "bee" is Megan Winn, an artist from Sunbury who now lives in central Indiana. Expect quality, hand-bound books and journals made from reclaimed and vintage materials.

Flamestitch

These local designers create vinyl handbags and wallets. One design recently was a finalist in the Independent Handbag Designer Awards and was displayed in the window of Henri Bendel in Manhattan. More endearing than the bag's contrast stitching is its name: The Old Slut.
