It's safe to say Columbus is falling in love with Oyo vodka, distilled right in the Short North at Middle West Spirits. Renzetti Voit made his own tasty Oyo infusion with mixed berries and lavender purchased at the Clintonville Community Market.

In place of a classic, heavy simple syrup, he lightened things up with a handmade syrup made from Ohio sweet corn and honey from Sunbury's BeeKist Meats.

A splash of sparkling riesling, produced by Wyandotte Winery in Gahanna, rounds things out.

1/2 oz Graystone Ohio Riesling
