OK Go is still on the pop-culture radar because they make incredibly entertaining, elaborate one-shot music videos. So it's natural to assume there's not much musical merit involved, just clever gags gone viral.

Funny thing, though: Those songs that play behind all the treadmill dancing and Rube Goldberg machines are uniformly excellent pop singles. Consider the recent "This Too Shall Pass." It's pretty much just one awesome hook repeated ad nauseam, but that's the thing - it's an awesome hook! Dudes are pretty good at this music stuff, too.
